Computer Issues!

I built my first computer of the summer.. but i have encountered one problem. When I am using my computer for something like browsing the internet, everything works fine. However.. whenever i play a game like LoL or SC2, at random my monitor goes blank. My computer is still on, but the monitor shows nothing and i have to restart the computer to get it working again. Also.. if im wearing headphones at the time when this happens it makes this loud buzzing type noise. It has only happened when im playing games which include: Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Blacklight, etc.

Is the problem my video card? If so what do you think is wrong with it! Any help is extremely appreciated.

I had a somewhat similar problem, minus the buzzing noise. Mine was due to graphic driver. you could try to update yours or revert to an older version.

i went to control panel and tried updating drivers.. no changes there really.. it tells me that everything is up to date.

And my specs are:
Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-VPro
VCard: R7870 Twin Frozr 2GD5
PSUPPLY: ANTEC 750Watt
RAM: Corsair XMS3 DDR3 16GB(4 x 4GB)
CPU: Intel i5-3570k
