Computer Laggy after Overclock

Hi

I have just encountered a wierd problem. I overclocked my comp, got it to a nice 3.00 Ghz stable and used it for a couple of hours. However, I decided to go back to my stock speed. Upon doing so, my superpi took 40 seconds to complete (it takes 21 seconds at stock speeds). Warcraft III has been lagging also. I have not overvolted like crazy -> .3V+ FSB, 0.0625+ CPU and 0.3+ RAM.

Is there a way to fix this? I have set my bios settings to default.

I know you said you have set the BIOS back to default but it might be worth clearing the CMOS with the jumper (usually near the battery on the mobo).

If you didnt check your temps when overclocking most likely its overheating and the CPU downclocked.

According to cpuz the cpu is running at stock speeds..
