HTML is not a coding language, how many times must i tell people this... Its a markup language, it doesnt code, you cant code with HTML, you code with something like VB or C# HTMl is a markup language, an interface language, not a coding language at all.
Yes, im not saying HTML isnt a good thing to learn because it gives you a good sense of general syntax and "code" (use term loosely there) construction....
mitchmiester, if your seriously considering coding, dont spend half your life perfecting HTML, as it isnt coding at all, start with somethign liek VB, this is IMO the easiest as it closely resembles general english sentance structure, and if you read a block of ti, most of it would be decipherable to some extent
