Computer mats?

Is there such a thing as a kind of computer mat you can use to put your case on, so it isn't directly on the carpet? I couldn't find anything like it on Newegg, but I'm not sure what to call it to search for it better. Is something like this even beneficial? I know there won't be any noise on the carpet, but I was wondering about dust, etc. from the fibers.

Thanks.

Just raise it up a little bit, like a small wooden box or something.

Better yet, place it on the desk! (if you have room)

I might try that. I figured it would just take up too much space, but I do have a large enough desktop that I think it might not be awful. :)

Besides, the P182 is so pretty I think I might want to stare at it while it's new. :D

Thats how I am with my case. I like being able to look at it, though I only see the front panel as the window side would block my dual-monitor capability. I hardly every have to clean it out, but I do anyway about every two months.

Did you ever have a problem with that monitor being too big, with you sitting that close to it? I'm still on the fence about getting a 20" or 22". I'm afraid I might find the 22" too big.
