Computer more powerful then 360?

Pretty much any current computers with decent specs are more powerful than an xbox 360... It has a pretty old gpu, 512mb of memory for both the system and graphics, and a triple core powerpc processor.
 
Agreed. The 360 is a nice console, but it can't compare to a $1000 gaming rig.

Plus, a PC is much more versatile than a console.
 
Yeah, any kind of gaming rig will eat a console from a technical standpoint, let alone a serious one. For about a grand, you could build yourself a very respectable machine.
 
So I dont have to worry about games for pc that are on 360 looking worse then the 360 version? Would they still have the framerate problems some 360 games have and will they be in native 1080p? Will a 1000 dollar computer take advantage of my 1080p monitor?

Depends on the game, eg- crysis wont play at full settings(most rigs wont play it at full anyhow). Thing is- even at medium settings, pc games kill xbox360/ps3 games. Especially if you build your own rig, much better price->performance than buying.
 
Games generally look better on PCs than counsels. A $1000 gaming PC would be able to render games at much higher graphic levels than a 360.
