Computer Mystery - Internet Problem

This is gonna be a tricky case, so put your thinking caps on .... This is gonna be like a Mystery Diagnosis but for computers.

-Symptoms-

Internet Drops Every 5-3 Minutes, for 2 seconds tops maybe.
Happens to only 1/8 computers in the house.
Goes down only long enough to kick me off messengers,MMORPGS,Downloads, anything up.
But, not long enough to notice in a browser.
I'm wired in, not wireless.
Not a virus, reformatted last night (happend before format too)
Changed the PCI Adapter an hour ago, not that either.
Don't use limewire,kaza,bearshare either, so no big virus :P

Now you know the symptoms, so, whats the problem =) Come'on doctors!:P

Sounds like an issue you got there. You said it only happens to 1/8 of your computers. How many computers do you have on the network? Could be a faulty NIC or cable.
 
Sorry it took so long for a reply, all 8 are on the network.. We changed the cable as well... It better not hurt.
 
What is the computer make\model that has the problem?

It sounds like it is a NIC(Network Interface Card) problem.

Do you have any experience changing out PC components?
