I just started study in computer networking and MCSE training at my home.when I connect networking desktop to laptop to create small networking using dhcp having problems. From this laptop, I'm on the same connection as my desktop is, so that means that my cable connection is still working, but I believe it's probably something with my network adapter. When I start up my computer, it stays at the XP Welcome screen for a minute or so, and then it gets stuck at a screen that shows my background, and no desktop icons, bars, or nothing, like it's stuck loading or something. Then, when it finally does load up, it says that my internet has limited or no activity.
