computer no start...

okay here is the deal....my computer starts up but the monitor says no signal and my mouse and keyboard dont turn on...but my light up mouseppad does. i remeber a couple days ago i replugged in the sound and my computer fro=e but it worked fine until today...i checked and doube checked everything. what could be the problem
 
so...what should i do? the psu seems to work and i dont know why RAM wouldnt.

this has happened before a couple days i just restarted the computer a couple times until it would turn on right....it had been working fine since then..until today all i did today was take off my software and run the wires niceley and plug em into the computer....
 
About the monitor try unpluging your cable from it and putting it back on i had the same problem but only with the monitor. Usually my problem was the cable on the monitor. So just try unpluging your cable from the monitor and then put it back in.
 
yea, i know that happened a couple time to me too. but neither the keyboard or mouse work either it has to be something else. my computer makes all the normal sounds and everything too. i dont know what it could be.
 
uuugh this shit is pissing me off so much. i was finsally going to have my sound working right and my area around my keyboard clean and this sshit happens...
 
Take out the sound card.

Same thing happened with a wireless card.

1) Plugs in
2) Works, installs drivers
3) Restarts
4) Nothing
5) Move card to another slot
6) Boots
 
did that. i even took out the sound card and wireless card and nothing....anything else i can try before calling geek squad??
 
no beep codes....should i judt call geek squad?? you guys think they will know what the problem is?
 
okay....so i guess im going to call geeksquad tommorow or on monday. hopefully it will be some minor thing...wish me luck. ill keep u guys updated....im pretty sure its my sund card caused someting. cause the plug for my speaker going into the sound card was loose and i plugged it in and the sound card wasnt screwed in which caused it to move and freeze my comp. but i jus restarted andit was fine for like a week till i unplegged my computer and plugged it backk in...
 
Plug off the ram from the slot and then remove the dust and then reinstall it at its place then restart the p.c ...
hope it will work buddy ...

1) Try booting from one stick at a time.
2) Try another PSU, cheap or from another computer.
3) Use only the necessary components. Unplug wireless cards/sound cards, ect.
4) Make sure you correctly put the standoffs on.
5) Do step 2.
