I got a 19" monitor from a friend for $50 and was wondering if buy the computer would really be that bad. It only has and hour and a half left and is only $760. I really don't know how to put together a computer nor do I have the time for it. Do you think getting this would be a bad decision? Here is the link for the computer.

Look it is your decision we have given you some advice....

There can always be a first in putting a computer together.... but i suppose you wouldn't want to do that. So... good luck...

If you do end up buy it post a link of it in here - http://www.computerforum.com/70124-new-toy-recently-purchased-items-thread-134.html - Then when it arrives post some pics...

Good Luck :)

I agree, building is definitely better than buying prebuilt. If you really are intent on not building it yourself I have been considering selling mine because I need the cash right now. Built it only a few weeks ago. Just PM me if you're interested, I'll give yeah the specs, probably looking at around $1100.

Edit: Doesn't actually look like you PM in these forums....so here's my computer:

So what DID you do? Honestly though, building a computer is much easier than expected. 1-2 years ago, I built a Sempron 2600+ and 512MB RAM. That was when this computer was worth $500. Now look at my age. If I can do it without a manual, you can most definitely do it.
