My friend is selling a computer:
Intel 2,6 GHz
Radeon hd 2600 pro
2GB RAM
I'm thinking of buying it. It's 1,5 year old and he is selling it for 200€. Is it too expensive or too risky to buy? Need some advice. :)

I assume it's a dual core of some sort? Is it a specific brand or custom build? Is it clean and has he taken care of it overall?

I'm unsure of your currency so not sure how that compares.

I called him, it's dual core and it's specific brand build.

If I'm specific, I'm saving money for a camera around 900€ and when I buy it I will hardly save another 1000€ for a computer. This one I have at the moment is old and this is a great opportunity for me I think. He is selling computer because he's buying a new one around 2000€ and he just wants to sell this one for a cheap money. But i dont want just buy it, i need some advices and i have to think about... :o so..

No, it's not apple. The price was around 650€.

EDIT:

Or maybe this computer, is much better than the first one? (it has 2 graphic cards)

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3800+
MATIČNA: MSI K9N SLI Platinum
GPU: 2xGeForce Leadtek 7600 GT SLI
RAM: 2x1Gb DDR2-800 RAM (dual channel)
HDD: WD 80GB
PSU: LC 550W
DVD: Samsung DVD-+RW

Could he get us some specific specs? Stuff that would help..

Model numbers of the following: PSU, Motherboard, CPU, RAM, Harddrive, Graphics card

If we have that stuff we can get an idea whether or not this machine can be upgraded down the road and just the general quality of the components. Motherboards, power supplies and graphics cards aren't created equal. There are much better brands than others.
