Well i recently bought a IDE harddrive that has 320gbs, but when i went to go install windows it was reading that i only had 120 gbs. Also the windows im installing is not a original copy, and does not have SP1, someone told me by installing SP1 it will read my other 200 gbs, but i did get a way to validate the windows and install SP1 but still no luck, am i supposed to config something?

If you created the partition and installed windows then installed SP1 (or 2 or 3) you have to partition the remaining space. Right click on my computer and pick manage. From there expand the storage tree and click on disk management. You should see your drive with unallocated space. Right click on it and create a new partition with the remaining space.

If you have a tool like partition magic you can try resizing your partition to the full size of the drive. Backup any important data before you try it though.
