After asking some friends and others..
I have come up with a list of parts for building a computer (my first one!)
Just looking for some opinions on it.. It will be used for mainly for gaming (Wow, Guild Wars etc.)
I have already bought:
-2 x Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit
-Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
-Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU
-Samsung SH-S223F/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter
-Maxtor DiamondMax 22 500GB SATA-II 32MB Cache
Planning to get:
-DFI Lan Party DK X48-T2R Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
-Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 3.00GHz (1333FSB)
-2 x Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express)

Any opinions and advice is very welcome!
This is also my first time building a computer, so any advice or threads etc. that may help will also be welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Two 4870 cards for playing WoW...that's a bit of an overkill. I would get a Quad Core CPU and just try 1 graphics card first. Your not going to see a difference in 60 FPS as apposed to 90 FPS. That will save you some money also.

Right now with the price of RAM so low...you should just get 4GB.

agreed with scout, unless your gonna be plain newer games as well. And 4GB ram is what you should get.
