Computer parts for cheaper?

Stick with the GTS G92. Better than the GTX and cheaper.

TigerDirect is usually never the cheapest site. Look at www.canadacomputers.com or some other places.... $1300 should at least get you a 45n, 4GB, and a 500GB HDD.

ya i no, i was buying off newegg but those assholes dont ship to canada........ if nyone from newegg reads this for some reason you have the best prices so plz ship to canada

im on canada comps .... why they have such a scarce supply of poducts. can i trust them

EDIT: tiger direct is cheaper for cpu's (may be noob question) whats the 45n/65n stuff mean

There just the size of yes hate me for this but something in the CPU. :P

But I do know 45nm processors run cooler and need less power. Which in turn should make it better for over clocking. Go for the E8400 is you want to go with a 45nm Core 2 Duo. The E8500 is technically better, but the price difference is just to much for the 0.16GHz gain and .5 more multiplier.

Also if you live in Edmonton or Calgary Alberta. Shop at Bcom. There prices have been the cheapest for the things I have bought.

There are other shop like ncix.com/ directcanada.com. worth to cross check.

By the way, the ram you choosen is for Laptop. Not for desktop
MB: P35 chipset is a better oc than G31
HDD: you should have choose SATAII drive not IDE
GPU: IMO, 8800GTS 512MB is a better choice than GTX
CPU: get the 45nm E8400. Perform a lot better than E6750

Doing that will add around $60-$70 more into his budget...

Ya , im sticking with GTX.... but im looking for a cheaper one. BEcause a 460 dollar vid card sets me back pretty much half my budget :S , Is GTS pretty close to performance though?
