I posted this here because I couldn't find an appropriate forum for it. If it is in the wrong section, I apologize in advance. I am looking for some help on my computer I am about to invest in. I want to make sure I am doing it right before ordering the parts.

I already have a monitor, speakers, mouse, and keyboard. Plus I have the power cords, etc since my last desktop stopped working.

Now the questions come in.
Are all these parts compatible?
Will this computer work when I put everything together?
Does all this come with cords to hook everything up?
Will this computer have a problem with heat or anything else?

Sorry if I come off as stupid or something, but this is my first time ever putting together a computer and I want to make sure everything is right.

Greatly appreciate anybody who helps me :)

This looks like a good computer, for general stuff, very limited games and web borwsing and email and all that.

It looks like a great system, only 1 problem. If you intened this to be a gaming computer, your going to need a better graphics card. This will be OK for limited gaming like some COD games at low settings but if you wanted to make this a gaming rig then I would reccomend a GTX 560 for gaming. It would go great with this system but if your not gaming then the system is great.

The power supply doesn't look the very best. If I were you i'd get the Antec Neo Eco 620W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371031

Delivers 620 watts and 48 amps on 12V rail and is 64.99 USD instead of 99 USD.

All the parts from what I see, are compatible.
It will work when you put it together if you know how to build a computer.
It will come with the required cables to plug everything in.
Heat should be ok, if you want to you can add an aftermarket cooler to your CPU but otherwise it should be fine

But before you order all the parts, wait for someone professional like jonnyp or an admin.

Enjoy your computer!!

A brand of motherboard other than MSI would be prefered, as they don't have a great track record in terms of reliability. Something by Gigabyte would be better IMO.

What are you planning to do with the computer? If you're gaming, then perhaps a better graphics card. It all depends on your budget.

Also, you're going to need a power supply to, well, supply power.

Well my last computer was 1.5 GB RAM with dual core 2.14 GHz CPU, and a Radeon X1300 graphics card. This computer could play some games on low graphics.

This will be a multi-purpose computer. A little of everything. It will be used for gaming. But I don't think you need all those high-end things if I could play with such a low-end system

@Perkomate
The power supply is included with the case.

@stranglehold
I want to spend about $650 max on the whole computer.
and thanks for the links, which ones are better?
