I recently bought a new custom build computer from a quite unheard of company. The specs of it are in my signature.
The problem i'm having is it shutting off and displaying the 'Blue screen of Death' then restarting Windows.
The problem only seems to happen when loading a Game up though, once i'm on it and join a game i can play for hours and exit without any problems, it's just on the loading screen.
But, about half an hour ago i came off Counter-Strike: Source and loaded msn and some music to listen to, started talking to friends and it shut down and gave me BSOD again, i checked my CPU temp after i came off CSS though and both cores were at 39 and decreasing. So it's not CPU overheating and not Graphics either because max i've seen it hit is 58*C.
Maybe it's the Sound? I haven't gotten a Sound Card yet and am currently using the Integrated sound (SiS) on the motherboard. Oh also, when i first got the PC it took some time to actually get the sound working, installing some drivers from a disk then updating them to get it running properly.
Other problem could i guess be the PSU not handling it. It's a 500W PSU, but i don't know what make, i think it's a pretty cheap one, it has a sticker saying RoHS on the back. Don't know if that's the company, also has the red switch for voltage, which i know is old school. Lol.
If anyone knows what this problem might be and can give me a hand i will be grateful
