computer problem, turned off automaticly, not turning on

hi there, umm got a bit of a problem with my computer... i was playin Call of duty 4, i had to do something and i went back to my comp and it was turned off, i tried turning it on again, and isnt turning off... any ideas?

also, i have been leaving the comp on during the night lately

you smell anything? probably dead power supply.

if it turns on then off then probably overheating or bad ram

yea, im pretty sure it is the power supply, i also did smell something, sort of burning =\, thnx
