so i took a part are old comp and put it back together and when i turned it on at first it gives 2 beeps like every second for about 10 seconds and on the monitor the green ligth by the power button starts blinking
 
Sounds like it's not booting off anything.... make sure the hard drive is connected properly.

Can you get into the bios???
