Until recently i have had no problems. Untill a couple days ago. All of the sudden my pc shutdown instantly like when u have no power, except all my usb still had power. it turnt off but my speakers still had power and so did my mouse because they have leds.

Noew it takes up to three tries to get my computer started. I hit the poer button then it turns on for less than a second, fans on leds on psu on but then it just turns off. I have overclocked a few times before highest of 4.2 ghz but it crashed i ran stable on 4.0 ghz then turnt it back down to 3.4.

I thought maybee it was something that could wait a week or so. But then today If shutdown again while i was running. It shutdown right when i started up a game, to be specific cod black ops maxed out. Before it got to the menu the computer just shutoff no blue screen.

I have no idea if there is a one certain part that could be broken. I would really appreciate anything you may know on why this is happening. I cannot afford to buy a part without know for sure that it is the one needing replacement.

Thany you for your time.

Was it getting adequate air flow so it wasn't overheating?

Are you using a good surge protector or battery backup protector to help prevent power problems?

my case has very beatiful airflow.

cpu is a cm 212+, a front and rear 140mm fan. and the case is huge and full of holes.

i keep the computer in an open area, not in the desk compartment.

my cpu never hits above 49c
