Computer Problem

Alright I been out of my game for awhile in working and troubleshooting computers since mine has been running fine for 2 years now or so. But Just last night I went to turn my computer on and I was getting the beep code 1 long followed by either 2 or 3 fast beeps. I tried looking it up and it said it was a problem with the video card. So I let the computer go over night didn't feel like ripping it apart since its watercooled and today I just turned it on first time I turned it on didn't get a beep code at all not even a A OK single beep it just sat kinda idle and didn't turn over. So I turned it off and turned it on again it did kick on this time got the A OK beep and went to windows I left the room came back and it just restarted on its own and sat at that idle stag and never got a single beep out of it.

I forget if my sig has my setup so here it is again.

Asus A8N-Sli Deluxe
AMD 64 3500
Geforce 6800 got 2 should be sli but it won't kick on either use to.
2 512 Mem

Alright thanks I'll be back to check this later got to get ready for work.

Need any more info just ask.

it sounds like a problem with the ram remove one stick and see what happens if it still does the same put that ram back and remove the other and try again

No RAM generally means continuous beeps... This sounds like one of your Video cards or Memory sticks is dead/dying. Try one Video card, and one stick of RAM (if you have 2) and start it up. Could you give us your BIOS manufacturer? We could look up the code from there.
