Computer problems please help!!!!

Computer problems
So my computer's a little weird... it kept freezing before and it had the "blue screen" and it was fixed for awhile now i have another problem, which i am not sure if it is a problem.

so recently, like 2 days ago, when i turned on my comp, there was a black screen like another other time when i start the computer... except it freezes there.
then i restarted my comp and the next time, this popped up again and then this other screen popped out.

incase you can't read it the bottom line says: disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter

so before i had made this "rescue disk" which is a floppy. so i inserted in and scanned it and no viruses found. so i restarted it but it went back to the same stuff on top.

but i noticed, and i knew this long ago, you know there's an indicator on your computer, the GREEN light that indicates that your computer is on? there's this indicator on the bottom and when the computer's "working" it usually flashes RED. So i noticed that whenever my comp freezes or have problems, the red light appears (no flash).

so when i scanned my comp the second time, the red light disappeared and when i restarted my comp, it works.

SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!!!!

if you know about computers, or if you know someone that knows about it, please help me!!!!!!!! :(

sounds like you might be having hard drive problems,check to make sure your cables are nice and snug,if not,it may be your hard drive giving away to the light at the end of the tunnel.
 
^ I strongly dont think its a dead mobo or bios.

I once fixed this problem by replacing the IDE cable - but most likely its a dying harddrive. Backup ur data ASAP.
