So I have a desktop computer that I play games but recently it started having problems, I'd play a game, like Sims 3 for example, and suddenly it closes out for no reason and I have to launch it again, and it happens everytime, it's also become very slow and it can take 20-25 minutes to load the Sims 3 and it used to take only about a minute. Also my mouse and keyboard are unresponsive on the computer for the first like 15 minutes but not my laptop (it's one of those keyboard and mouse that share a usb). Does anyone have any solutions to my problem? Thank you.

Run HDtune. And then check dxdiag by typing that into the Windows start menu search box. Also try a new USB port. Faulty hardware can do some bad things.
