just yesterday, i put in 2 fans, 1 exhaust fan card and 1 LED 80MM fan and the arrow is poiting out so i kno its blowing air out...but my comps restarted 4times consistently...like i started playing World of Warcraft, then the monitor went blank and the power button on it went yellow and then my computer restarted and then i got to the login screen and restarted and then restarted again before win xp loaded, the screen said like no input, culd i be runnign too much power?....

thats probably it take out 1 fan and see if it restarts if it doesnt ur all set just dont use that fan, or u got a ghost in ur house that haunts ur computer! lol

i just added 2 fans in my computer and now my comps restarting randomly, during WoW, when im nto playing it, it usually does not restart...u think that its just my PSU overheating or too much power?

think it is a Power failure... what is ur PSU?
A PSU is a Power Supply unit

im almost sure that that is your problem. it makes sense that this is happening after you add on more power using items like fans. lol
P.S. what is the current wattage on your psu and what else are you running on it

Well if you realy feel that you need to use the fans then a bigger psu is in order, seems like your psu is only just powering the system as it is, maybe its worth upgrading anyway!
tbh i would not bother with the fans unless you are experiencing heat related problems, all it will do is waist power and make more noise!

its atx 430 12v
What's the amperage on the +12V line (it's printed on the side of the PSU), and what's it powering (i.e. what's in your system).

Also, what are your temperatures.

u think my PSU is overheating...my fan in back of it isnt running, its a ATX 430 WORKS...i dunno wat that means, i bought it when i bought my case off a website, they had the option for a bigger PSU, im running my Motherboard of course(Asus A7n8x), Audigy 2, ATI radeon 9500 Pro, 2 side fans(Came with case), cd rom, floppy, 2 harddrives.

Hey, Waters. If taking a fan out cures the problem, I'd go along with the other guys here and say your PSU is toasted and it's time for a new one. Just my two centavos.

well, i think its toasted aswell, i dunno why it just decides to start restarting...it started restarting randomly when i added the rear fans, but i took those out and now its restarting on huge games like WoW and stuff...and as i said the fan in the baks no workin and i look on the bottom of my PSU witha flasghlight and saw a lil bit what looked liek burnt residue on the heatsinks

how do i find the right PSU? i mean i see ATX and ATX12v.. and my thing says ATx and 12v, so do i get a atv12v
