Computer Running Slow

Alright guys I have had my computer since Vista came out. HP Pavillion m7750n. AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core Processor, 2 gb of ram, 400gb hard drive, and an nvidia g force graphics card. The computer is around 2 years old now but it is running extremely slow lately. When I try to render videos on sony vegas it takes 20 minutes and slows my whole computer down. I just want to know a way to get it back up to what it was when I bought it. Thanks
