Computer running slow

My internet is running so slow it's driving me nuts. I recently had jzip downloaded on my laptop running vista. Please help, here's my hijack this log:

Whenever you have slow internet, you should reset your modem and router and see if that fixes things first. i see you have jzip listed as your homepage. Is that what you want? I don't see any issues in the log, however, i did notice you weren't running the latest version of malwarebytes.

Open internet explorer, click on tools, internet options, change the homepage to whatever you want to use.
 
According to your hijackthis log, jzip is set as your homepage in internet explorer. What kind of addons do you have for firefox? If you set it to open with no addons, does it open quicker? Most of the time, its all the toolbars that load in the browser and you don't need them.
