First off im trying to open a internet cafe in the comunity i live in. i would like to know what would be a good computer setup to make for other poeple to use and yet not cost a lot. they have to be simple yet useable for internet, word prosseing, and email. there will be other computers too but i will have diffrent spect for them. also what would be a good program that i can use that will block all porn sites on the network.

You best be careful and do a lot of research of your demo- I've seen so many internet cafe's pop up and die out really fast. As for set ups, CRT's are the best way to go- they're are a lot cheaper and better refresh rates. Another suggestion is to lease are your systems. You can keep them up to date, very little up front costs, and if there's a problem, the company you bought it from will service it. You can also try to write off the lease costs too.
A good customizeable firewall is WinProxy. I'm sure there are others, but this is the one I use.

contact dell. Seriously. They have lease programs that are designed just for this purpose. They will be able to set you up with computers and a central server to act as a domain controller and firewall

every true! The Internet Cafe market is pretty full alot of people start up computer shops and cafe now it seems like a hard one you have the running of the establishment and the maintain of computers and network! you could have three quarters dells and then the rest good gaming computers and hold cs:s or ut compititions! I paided £25 in one cafe that got me 8 hours to use the computers it was from 11pm to 6am and they had loads of games to play it kicked ass!:D
