If you don’t get any system error messages in event viewer and if you can go up to windows login screen, it is not a memory problem at all. Don’t kill your time testing memory.
Checking my cpu temperature was the first thing I did because the fan I don't trust. The temperature for it is fine. I dont have a blank cd on me but i'll be able to get one by tuesday. I'll try to do both your things, but once monday starts up I get busy and I don't know if i'll have time to do them, but i'll try.
As in holding down the off button - only to shut it down when it goes into its repetitive restart mode thingy. But that was only like twice I did that. Other than that I tried my best to shut it down correctly, but it always restarted so I always shut it down at the begining place before the desktop.
OK,
The memtest is finally working for me.
I got an error that states -
memory error detected for word pair# 49522447, values 383936492, 973490820 do not match
And ofcourse I wrote the website down wrong so I can't check and see what that means.
I just got another one that sais the same except for the numbers
The new numbers in order of how they go on the firstpost
42824809
1200881355
2679143080
Thankyou very much SirKenin. It's not a compatibility issue so I'm going to RMA it tommorow an hopefully my computer will then work! But knowing me, something else will be wrong.
