Computer Shuts Down Randomly...

Recently built a computer and it shuts down randomly, after idle for a few minutes or after idle for a few hours... While surfing the Internet or playing a graphic intense game...

I read a lot of forums online and a lot of people stated, "Bad power supply." Even though my power supply was good, I RMA'd it just to make sure that I didn't have a false positive... With the new power supply in I still have the issue...

Can anyone help me diagnose this issue so I can have a stable computer? Going to school online and playing games is really starting to get annoying...

Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 (I have 2 in crossfire while I play games and not in crossfire while I'm doing school work and surfing the Internet. I have three screens.)

There's no BSOD, just hard resets... Surfing the Internet or playing a game and, BAM, there's no more power...

I have two SSD's in RAID 0 and have been using them for about three years. Had them in my Alienware laptop and never had any issues. I have a 1TB internal HDD that I thought could be the issue, I removed it and still have the issue.
 
Hmmm, check your power connections on the motherboard. With the machine running, can you wiggle the power cord enough to see if it will reproduce a restart?
 
I tired that to all of my connections, even replaced all my cables with new ones when I received my RMA'D power supply.
 
OK, next on the list is the memory, have you checked to make sure that the memory is running at the correct voltage and speed? I believe correct voltage is 1.2v.

I'd agree what temps are you getting? I read somewhere a while back if the cooler mount is the wrong way around it can cause the cpu to get hot as it doesn't sit flat. I'd update and or make sure Gpu drivers are updated.

Shutting straight off usually means overheating.

If this is windows 7 then access safe mode options and highlight "disable automatic restart on system failure" and hit enter. The next time it wants to restart it should blue screen on you. Then we need the code or we can have you run blues creek view to get the log from it.
 
I ran MemTest86 and no errors were found...

My water cooling is on properly and at idle I'm around 75°F and maxed out I'm around 140°F.

I have it set to NOT restart after a system failure and it doesn't... BUT... Even when I power it back on I don't get a BSOD or an error...
 
Check event viewer then for any entries that may describe whats going on. It has to be some hardware failure.

However, did you use the standoffs between the case and motherboard? If not, then you are most likely grounding the motherboard and causing the reboot.
 
I'm using the standoffs for my motherboard and double checked that there's nothing behind the motherboard shorting anything.

Checked the Event Logs and only shows, "Unexpected shut down."
 
I was watching a movie on my computer and it did it again... Ugh... Below is the details I pulled from Event Viewer.

I took screenshots of what CPU-Z shows.

I have my processor overclocked, the issue I'm having happens when my processor is and isn't overclocked. The overclock itself isn't causing the random shut downs. I recently overclocked and this issue started long before my overclock.

My temperatures across the whole motherboard and components are around 30°C. Even if I max out my processor it only gets up to 60°C. It seems like a grounding issue, but I took my computer apart to make sure the motherboard offsets weren't touching a part of the motherboard it shouldn't be. How can I check for grounding issues another way? When I plug my computer power cable into my surge protector it states, "Bad ground." I can't seem to find where that is on my computer though.
 
What voltage is your memory set on? Seems your memory is running at a odd speed for being 2666! Plus your timing should be at 15/17/17/35/52 at 1.35V
