Had problems with computer shutting down. Then it turned into hard drives and fans running but no picture on the screen. After trying a different power supply video card and processor I just installed a new motherboard and it started right up picture and everything. I updated virus software and was trying to find bios for new mother board when the computer shutback down and rebooted again I really don't wanna buy a new board how can I fix this problem? Could psu cause last motherboard to go bad?

You're having a heat issue.
Is the heatsink mounted on the CPU properly? Is it rated high enough for the CPU?
Did you remove the old thermal paste and apply a new layer?
Is the CPU fan working properly?

i had the same problem and i left the plastic on my CPU fan :P so just resit it and see how you go...

Used to have a cpu heat issue have a new cpu with a normal temp. The problem fried the last motherboard so I would think its a psu problem that cause the motherboard to fry rather then the cpu overheating and causing the motherboard to go bad if that makes sense?
