computer sleeping ?

I just got this new computer its a custom build when I put it to sleep I have to use the power button on the computer to wake it up my old computer I could just move the mouse power setting is turn off Monitor after 45 min and turn off computer after 1 hr hard drive never turn off I running windows 7 how can i get to wake up with the just moving the mouse

are you having it hibernate, or are you putting it in sleep mode. I only ask, because i have never had an issue with using the keyboard to awake my sleeping laptops with 7. Its always been (using Full version of 7) pre setup for it.

In power options there is no hibernate option I think Hibenate option is only on a laptop

it is an option available in all windows computers. I use it on my desktop all the time. Click on start, the power button, and hibernate. It may not be available in 7, I am using vista. but anyway, what it does is saves what your doing to the hard-drive and powers off the computer. To turn it back on, you have to push the power button and it will "wake up".

Yes the power button wake it up I want.to be able to just use the mouse to wake.it up
