Computer Speed

As of late my Internet connection has been anything but fast, IE... its usually runs around 60kbps - 80kbps its DSL with sympatico, and its running at about 10kbps for about 2 weeks now, i have yet to find out why this happening but if there is anybody who could help me out with this it would be nice.

Yes, They just say to make a new connection so i did and nothing happens, the only thing i can think of is that i use to be connected to a router and it ran fine so i will try this and see what happens.

I've had similar problems and all I had to do to fix it was turn my modem off for about a minute and then turn it back on.

isnt 768kbps 1/4 DSL?
or are you talking in kilobytes? 1kilobyte = 8kilobits
so even at 1/4 DSL line you should be operating at about 96KB/s or 768kbps.
the difference when abbreviated is Kilobyte is capitalized and Kilobit is lowercase. (KB vs. kb)

Yes that was my fault, i mixed the two up...im running at about 15 KB im going ot try and turn it off for a day and see how it works and if you doesn't work i might just go to the more expense cable here.
