computer start up NEED A LITTLE HELP

Is it normal that the computer takes about 3 minutes to startup?
(including pushig the on button, enter password)

It depends do you have a lot of start up processes running in the background? Are you using vista?

i use vista and i think i dont have so much process running in backgroud

Are you sure?

Press and hold Ctrl+Alt then press Del. Select "Start Task Manager".
Click "Show Processes from all users" also.

How many processes are running in the lower left corner?
