computer start up problem

Possibly.
Does it do anything at all when you try to turn it on or does it just sit there quitely dead as a brick?

try to describe the situation...Have you recently opened your case, moved your computer etc...try to give us more information to work off of.

alright, it just sits there, does nothing.

to the other question, i have bought a new 512mb ram card and put it in, that was about...3 months ago. it was running fine back then, no problems.

is there a LED light on your mb? If there is see if it's on. Also try changing a psu and see if it works.

If you dont have an extra psu lying around unplug your 20pin connector and 4pin connector. Next take a paper clip and stick on end in the green pin hole and put the other end in any black pin hole. Then turn on the powerswitch and see if the psu turns on.

Just Check Your SMPS and other power cables or if you can test it with the multimeter - -hitesh
