Computer started running slow

I just started World of Warcraft (yes I'm a nerd) and it lagged unbearably for a minute or two before crashing. I restarted, and everything lagged.. It runs fine for a few seconds, then starts skipping (sound) and mouse pointer stops.

Included my highjackthis log.

Any ideas?

Which is odd, as all temp sensors says it's normal, and all fans seem to be working.

Checked for spyware, and didn't find anything. Also checked fans, and they work as well.

Right now, I get random skipping while moving the mouse pointer around the screen. Gonna test games, see what happens.

What if it is a hardware problem, how do I find it and what could it be?

Edit: Tried restarting, cleaning fans, everything. Still doesn't work well.

That is a little bit of a stupid comment, don't ya think. he clearly said that he ran hijack this and all, and buzz even read it.

Also ran Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D. Have also had an active anti-virus program and really haven't done anything except playing and using MSN (never clicking links) for weeks, which makes a hardware issue more and more likely.

Edit - some more details:
Whenever I run too much applications (not a lot at all, just msn and Firefox right now), for example sending someone a vibe on msn, sound studders, and graphics get laggy. Just a bit, but it's even worse when I play games. This never happened before. When I had too much applications (filesharing, msn, games, and some more) it just slowed down. It didn't sound like my speakers were broken (they're not). It never happened with this little stuff running.

I have the exact same problem, EVERYTHING you mentioned even the 'while playing wow' part is same (computer froze up and had to reboot)

Now some programs will take ages to boot up, extracing a compressed file like a .rar file takes forever, installing things onto my computer takes forever and system restore allmost never happened. Now while running any game on my pc the sound, cursor - everything seems to stutter and freeze up occasionally for a few seconds. this never happend to me before. :confused:

Did a virus scan and spyware check with spybot and addaware - still no joy.
 
how much RAM do you have installed? Open Task Manager and look on the Performance tab, under the Physical Memory section. How much Available do you have? Also what video card do you have?
