Computer to Computer help please

Hi, I've heard of something that you and your buddy go to and both of you do something to pick which desktop you want to see, For example I want to do stuff on my friend's computer because he can't figure something out, so me and him do something where I can link to his desktop and do stuff on his computer, I know this sounds confusing but if any of you know of how to do that please tell. :) thanks so much.

The newest MSN Messenger has Remote assistance, go to the MSN help if you don't understand how to use it.
 
ok thanks i think thats what i did, i used pro free trial or seomthin for 14 days and i tried to link to my friends computer that is a few states away and we both couldnt figure out how i could control his computer from my house and were still tryin to figure out. maybe something i am doing wrong?
