Computer Unstable (startup repair log)

So basically, when playing Battlefield 3 with friends, every hour or so my computer will start making a loud screeching noise through the headphones. My friends can hear it too through skype. Then everything crashes - BF3, Skype, Chrome etc. My computer doesn't BSOD, but things start disappearing/reappearing and glitching when I re open chrome. Once i've restarted my computer it's fine, but atm it's really annoying.

Start by checking hdd and memory and then see if doing a repair install will work. However, when it lists no root cause, it will be hard to track down. Might have been caused by a windows update.

It would be easier if you tell us what were the last things you did on your system before this started happening.

It seems I've fixed the problem for now, I reset the BIOS settings and the startup repair seemed to of fixed it. Also, S.T.A.R.S., this was a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
