Computer upgrade/ new build

I'd like to start off by thanking you for looking at my post. I am new to building computers and need all the advice I can get for building/ or upgrading.

My goal is to have a nice gaming desktop that can run new games at high fps on good/ high settings. Game example: DayZ, or Arma 3

My budget is around $1,000-$2,000

My current system- (If it would be cheaper to just upgrade my hardware)

Thank you for any advise, I am lost when it comes to picking out the right hardware and good prices for good hardware.

I'm going to check that here when I get my tax return, price and availability may change. It gives me a good idea of price and if the items are available then I'll get it! Thank you so much Twiki!!!
 
You're welcome but the list came from a site that is run by builders so they know what's good and what's not, all from experiences. :)
