Computer upgrade question

Hello all,
I am currently running an E8400 Dual core processor on a MSI P7N plat. mobo, with 2 9800 GTs running in SLI. I have 8 gigs of DDR2 800 running. I was looking into upgrading my video card. I thought about getting maybe a 465 GTX with 1 gig of DDR5 and maybe eventually i'd get another and run them in SLI. My question is....given my current setup would it be better for me to just upgrade my mobo and CPU? Am i going to get that much of a boost by upgrading my video card but leaving my CPU and my slow old DDR2? I figure my next build will be an AMD probably quad 955 (not sure of mobo yet). Would it benefit me that much to spend 200 on a video card to put in this system or is it simply time to upgrade it to another? Thanks...

Well it all depends on what you need the PC for. (I am guessing gaming)
just some more info, whats your Processing power (i.e. GHz) and what are the 9800 (i.e. 512MB or GB or 256)

I think your GPU's are Relatively good, i would upgrade the processor and maybe get a new RAM, depends on your budget, but that is maybe what i would do.

Dont get a GTX 465 either way. Go with a GTX 460 1gb. If you might go AMD, it might be better to get a HD 6870 so you could crossfire. Nvidia is about at the end for AMD chipsets and SLI.

No GTX 465, Get GTX 460 1GB or 6850 or 6870.
Don't change the CPU + Mobo this moment, both AMD & intel about to change their socket.
