Hey,
I received a very nice system from a friend who was moving away.
I was wondering if there are any huge bottlenecks that will limit my experience with it. Also, what do you suggest will be a good upgrade.

CPU: Intel Celeron D 3.2 Ghz
Mobo: Biostar P4M800-M7A
RAM: 1 Gig DDR2 (2 X 512MB)
Graphics: Radeon 9550 256MB
Audio: Creative SB Live!
Optical Drive 1: Plextor CD-R PX-W4824A
Optical Drive 2: Compaq DVD-ROM 115

-thanks.

patience fella,

depends what you wanna do with it really, gaming, internet, music etc

for gaming the graphics is a bit lacking for a start.....

yeah, well I want it to be a multi-tasker. I do play WoW and counterstrike quite often. Seems like it has been able to run those just fine.

I really don't want to spend that much money, I was thinking maybe replace 1 component. Maybe a good overclock will do?

That motherboard supports DDR, not DDR2 RAM. You're biggest bottle neck is the GPU and CPU. If you got a better GPU and then overclocked the processor, you'd be pretty well off. Otherwise, I wouldn't really do much to it. I don't know what processors that board supports, but most certinally not Core 2 duo. That being the case, I personally wouldn't put much money into it. Plus the GPU is limited to AGP, which can be a more costly upgrade than compariable PCI-Express cards.
