Have just put a new hard drive in my desk top , and all I get is line on top of y screen
Witch is a load of rubbish

Is this new drive blank? Or was there an operating system already on it? You have to reinstall windows as you can't take a drive from another system and put it in another and expect it to work due to different hardware.
