I'm Not Sure Where To Post This But..

I woke up this morning and my computer was being all laggy.
So i logged out and it wouldn't log me back in, it would just keep loading.
Then when I tried Rebooting my computer it would just reboot i self right before the log-in page.
I tried going on safe mode and everything.
Anyone have any ideas on what to do besides using a PC Recovery Disk?

Thanks for the Help =]

It sounds more like a possible hardware problem if it isn't a weak lithium battery on the board itself. How old is the system? If you have had it running for a good year or more don't be surprised at finding a battery going. That will cause problems easy enough when the system hasn't been running long enough to overheat anything.

One common hardware fault can be a bad cap in a supply or you may be seeing a failing bios eprom. I give a weak supply or even cpu on the way out being a more likely cause. The supply gets the edge since the most power drawn at one time is seen when first powering up a system.

could be something as simple as a corrupt driver

do a non-format restore, back up anything you need to backup, and then do a full restore, with a full hard drive format.

One or more corrupted drivers would most likely see Windows hang and freeze up solid. While not ruling out some type ot virus or malware completely the description is more common when a hardware problem develops. A drive going bad is another idea to look into.
