computer wont boot, just makes beeps...?

First off, try removing the ram and reinserting it. If that don't work, try only having keyboard, mouse, and video card hooked up, no other external devices at all.

1 long beep and 2 short beeps are a video error. So the first thing we need to know is the system configuration.

Is the system in your sigline the current config?
 
got it, I guess my vid card got a little out of place last time I plugged in my monitor, I just reinserted it and its all good. Thanks anyways
