So this it the problem, Vista Ultimate
When all four h/d's are connected I can get the computer to the boot menue,
where it shows all 4 sata porta with the respective h/ds
It boots until I get the moving bar at the bottom. But then the bar just goes away, I wait for about 20minutes but nothing,
Now when i just connect each addition h/d individual booting with 2 it boots up just fine, So I know the h/d ;s are fine

thanks for your help

It sounds as if your PSU doesn't have enough juice to run all r drives as well as everything else in the system. You do have a pretty powerfully PSU but it still may be underpowered. Try a bigger PSU is the only suggestion I can come up with other then saying to connect a drive or two via an external drive.

its not a lack of power, a 700 watt would be able to power a quad core and a decent graphics card, plus they have almost zero draw on a power supply
