Computer won't boot.

I recently went to toshiba manufacture to update my bios, and during installation, my computer froze and went black. I rebooted and it just stayed black, my bios didn't load. I couldn't use the recovery and applications/driver disc because it only works after the bios is loaded. techguy.org told me that it's my motherboard and that I ruined it. Is that true? I'm just getting a second opinion before I submit this into this repair store where I live.

So Toshiba told you to flash your BIOS? Personally, if there's not a problem, don't try and fix it. Apart from submitting it for repair, I don't really have any other ideas. You might want to check with someone else though, I'm not that great on BIOS updates. Only done it twice (builds where boards were not working). Hopefully it's under warranty, or you'll need a new laptop. You might not be able to flash it back, in which case, it's dead and needs repairing/replacing.

rma it. you'll probably won't get it working anymore.
the bios chip probably needs to replaced. But manufacturers seem to get more stupid by the day and more and more of them start soldering those to the mobo... So they'll probably have to exchange the entire mobo.
