Hi,
i have a desktop computer (dell,XP) that won't boot.
When i press the power-on button the cpu fan spins and the green leds at the power button and the USB ports and the reset button flashes rapidly, constantly while i hold the power button.
I have not done any modifications on the computer.
I've tried the following:
1. Switching to another power outlet
2. Making sure all internal cards/RAM are attached properly
3. Removing dust inside the computer
With no result.
I've had this problem once before, a few weeks ago. Then i tried a lot of things with no result.
And suddenly it worked again. It booted up and worked perfectly with no trouble for several weeks. And now it wont boot again.
Does the flashing LEDs when i press the power button indicate that the computer resets over and over again?
Any ideas what causes this problem?
