Yesterday I installed/upgraded my ram from 8 to 32gb, and i added a wireless headset to my setup.

the monitor will shut off after 15min, but my computer wont go to sleep now, is the new ram/headset the cause of this?

i've got every setting i can find set for 15/30

This is the only thing i've found that might be preventing it from entering sleep?

Does the "when sharing media" need to be changed off of prevent idling to sleep?

is the new wireless headset "sharing media" even if the headset is off? there is a USB for the headset in the computer.

please help,

thanks in advance.

Honestly, ever since the last cumulative update (Around Sept/Oct 2020), the power/energy saving options in Windows 10 haven't worked correctly.

Since it hasn't been fixed yet, it will either get patched in the May 2021 or Sept 2021 cumulative update, hopefully.

The Sept/Oct 2020 cumulative update was a pretty big deal. Not so much in the new bells and whistles, that Microsoft likes to show off, but it did some serious upgrades to some security issues, and I suspect it's the security issues that messed up the power/energy stuff in Windows 10. My computer was crafted in 2015, so it might be an issue that crops up with older builds.
