Computer Wont Start Up

When i turn my computer on it says Windows could not start properly or something similar

It gives me five options:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Last Known Good Configuration

Start Windows Normally

Whichever option i chose, it makes my computer restart and after that happens the same screen with the same options appear again

anyone able to help?

Do you have Norton antivirus or something, you might have gotten a bad virus, I’m not sure about other antivirus software but with Norton you can boot from the installation disc and scan for viruses, and you could always format your HD and reinstall windows

I think i might reinstall windows...i just have some unbacked up files on my computer that i could do with having
