So I come home today...my computer was off. I was like WTF mate??
I try to turn it on...it turns on for like half a minute, then turns off. Screen says no signal. I don't use a crazy video card, i have a 32MB dual monitor card.
I opened up the case, full of dust. From the outside, the power supply smelled like burned rye bread.
I'm down to the power supply, cpu, or memory for being the problem. I hear most of the hard drives turn on, I don't see why a bad hard drive would make it not even go into bios.
Has anyone ever seen a bad power supply do this? It's a cheapy one, I'm on my second one under warranty. A resistor fell off the board on the first one after a year.
