Computer wont turn off

When i load up my computer and try to do a hard shut down it wont. Help please. If you need more info i can give.

what do you mean? do you mean that if you hold down the power button for 5 seconds it doesnt turn off? or that it turns off and turns itsself back on?

isnt there an option where you can set hard turn offs? Dont remember lol..

fixed the problem, just took out and put back in the power cable thingys. (where the power button, reset button and leds connect to the motherboard). If anyone knows the proper names for them do say.

Yeah, there was a motherboard wiring issue if that was the case.
