im putting together a new computer and i put it all together plugged it all in the power button lights up and the light on the power supply is on, i hit the power button and nothing at all. I tested the power supply on another rig and no problems, i tested power button on another motherboard and it fired up, is it possible motherboard is no good?

There are many incorrect ways, if it's not connected properly, your LED's won't work, or will be constantly on, or your power/reset buttons won't work.

Look in the motherboards manual for the correct way to hook them up.

ill have to check out the manual and see if i have it backwards or something cuz i have no power at all. Question though and i kinda think this may be part of the issuse. I took an old P4 emachines computer and replaced the mobo cpu ram hd but i left the original psu from the old machine. Is it possible that the psu isnt compatible with the new parts??
