I posted this thread before but i cant find it now.

What happened was, about 3 weeks ago i came in on a monday to work and turned my computer on, well it wont turn on. It keeps restarting itsself after 3 seconds. i checked the whole board over, no burns, no poped caps, no nothing.

I replaced powersupply and its still restarting.

Now the friday before i had stuck another stick of memory in the computer but never turned it bk on till that monday. and thats when it all happened, now i have already removed that stick of memory and it still keeps restrting every 3 seconds.

Whats going on?

Here is your other thread.

You should go back to it and continue instead of creating a new one. However, one little thing to mention. Did you remove the cmos battery after you removed the memory you added? Doing this will actually reset the cmos settings.

Unplug the power supply, remove the cmos battery from the motherboard, press the power button on the case a few times to discharge any remaining power, then wait a minute. Reinsert battery, reconnect power supply and try booting up.
